On June 14, 2025, Mitac Electronics Technology Corporation officially held the topping-out ceremony for its new factory at the South Hanoi Supporting Industrial Park (HANSSIP).

Mitac, a global leader in electronics technology based in Taiwan (China), is accelerating its investment strategy in HANSSIP. The company aims to expand its large-scale electronics manufacturing ecosystem, focusing on areas such as consumer and industrial computing, electronics products, medical equipment, aerospace, circuit boards, and electronic chips,..
In October 2024, Mitac received the official handover of land at the HANSSIP Industrial Park — a key industrial zone developed by N&G Investment and Development Corporation (N&G Corp). Strategically located in Phu Xuyen Commune, Hanoi City, HANSSIP is just 30 km from downtown Hanoi and directly connects to the North–South Expressway and National Highway 1A. This location is ideal for trade and the development of key supporting industries which focused on key sectors including automotive and aerospace parts manufacturing, metal stamping, electronic components, high-tech products, and environmentally friendly manufacturing sectors.
HANSSIP is expected to create around 30,000 jobs for local workers and communities in Southern Hanoi in its early development phase, delivering significant social value.
Only 8 months after receiving the land, Mitac has reached a major milestone with the completion of the factory’s structural framework. This event marks a critical step forward in Mitac’s production development at HANSSIP.

During the ceremony, the Chairman of Mitac Electronics Technology Corporation shared: “Some of our products are currently exempt from taxes, while others face tax barriers ranging from 10% to 30%. We understand that Mitac’s operations in Vietnam will also face some tax-related challenges. Previously, the rate was known to be 46%, but now it is 10%. Based on our analysis and assessment, we believe that different industries will concentrate in different areas and that there will be changes over time. Therefore, Mitac will not stop its development in Vietnam but will continue to grow. We also hope that in the coming months, the Vietnamese and U.S. governments will be able to negotiate more favorable policies.”
As the project’s direct developer and land provider, N&G Group has closely collaborated with Mitac to ensure infrastructure progress and actively supported the company in swiftly completing legal procedures. Acting as a bridge between investors and local authorities, N&G proactively promotes a transparent, efficient, and stable investment environment — helping enterprises navigate administrative barriers and access tax policies in a clear and consistent manner.

The topping-out ceremony today marks not only a milestone for Mitac but also reflects the long-term development strategy of the Hanssip Supporting Industrial Park – where N&G Group is committed to developing industrial zones, infrastructure, and high-tech initiatives, laying a solid foundation for sustainable socio-economic development.
